Pre-doctoral researcher Hernán Cortez participates in the III Online Seminar on Climate Crisis: Law and Sustainability
On Tuesday, September 9, the Third Online Seminar on Climate Crisis: “Law and Sustainability” was held, organized by the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the Austral University of Chile, in collaboration with Actualidad Jurídica, the DOE Blog, and DOE, the Chilean Information Bank. The event was coordinated by Professor María Elisa Morales.
During the meeting, doctoral student and research group member Hernán Cortez presented a paper entitled “Environmental statements and greenwashing: a comparative perspective between Spain and Chile.” In his presentation, he addressed recent directives related to sustainability in consumer law, as well as bills currently being debated in both Spain and Chile on the subject.
The event was attended by various international guests and represented a new instance of collaboration between the members of the Conflictu Legum group and Chilean institutions.
