This work tries to highlight some of the errors of conception and legal technique committed by the Galician legislator when addressing the legal regulation of unmarried couples in the Galician Civil Law Act of 2006. The radical change of the concept "couple" has not served for the 2007 legislator, by modifying the regulation, to have amended his mistakes. What it has achieved is incurring different ones.
