The De Conflictu Legum Research Group is organising the seminar ‘The relationship between the European Convention on Human Rights and national legal systems: a reconstruction based on the theory of multilevel governance’, which will take place on 6 October at 5.00 pm in Santiago de Compostela, and at which Prof. Dr Christoph U. Schmid, Professor of European Constitutional Economic Law, Economic Law and Private Law at the University of Bremen, and Director of the Centre of European Law and Politics.

The event is organised under the direction of Professors María Paz García Rubio and Marta Otero Crespo, both from the Department of Civil Law at the University of Santiago de Compostela. As is customary, once the distinguished guest’s keynote speech has concluded, there will be a question-and-answer session for all attendees to participate in a joint discussion.
